Cherry Creek

Sixteen blocks of galleries and shops, and Nancy’s office.

Cherry Creek North is a sixteen-block district of independent boutiques, restaurants and galleries, with Cherry Creek Shopping Center just to the south. It grew into Denver’s main gallery district in the 1970s and 1980s, and each summer the Cherry Creek Arts Festival fills its streets.

Nancy’s Compass office is here, at 200 Columbine Street.

The houses

After World War II the area filled with brick bungalows and cottages. Many remain, though townhomes and newer residences have taken the place of plenty of them. South of the creek, mid-rise condominiums along Cherry Creek South Drive give the area a different way in. Nancy represented the buyer of a unit there in 2021.

Getting outside

The Cherry Creek bike path follows the water through the neighborhood, and Pulaski and Manley Parks provide small pockets of green among the blocks. The East Seventh Avenue Parkway adds a long, tree-lined stretch to the north.
